George has worn many hats in his 28-year career – B2B and B2C marketer, strategist, researcher, digital transformation advisor, social media whiz, entrepreneur, small business owner, teacher and coach. Although he’s worked with (and for) Fortune 500 businesses throughout his career, he’s an entrepreneur at heart.
As the founder and managing principal of Metric Centric, George leads a team of data engineers and market research analysts who are specialists in examining consumer attention. Metric Centric is an analytics research practice that helps organizations to better understand any marketplace by analyzing the voice-of-consumers (VoC) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). By measuring and monitoring conversational data across the web and AI engines, Metric Centric enables the understanding of marketplace perception and sentiment towards brands, products, services and competitors. Simply put, his team helps organizations listen better - to people and to machines - so they can act smarter and make better decisions.
George regularly teaches classes at The American University, Georgetown University and The University of Maryland on topics of tech media and entrepreneurship. George earned a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from The University of Maryland and an MBA in Marketing & Information Systems from The American University.
